Here’s a classic Velvet Underground song covered by the ex and me, with back-up vocals and production done by insanely-talented former student Justine. I think it’s a pretty good version. Had my itunes on shuffle and it played and I felt good for having recorded this song, and bad that the people I recorded it with are no longer around. Listening to the lyrics in retrospect, the song suddenly seems portentous. “She’s gonna play you for a fool. Yes it’s true.”
